The Old Farm is a 90 minute drive from Hobart, offering the perfect rural escape.
Located 5 minutes past Port Arthur, this area is renowned for its breathtaking scenery, wilderness and rich history. Visitors are drawn to the World Heritage Listed Port Arthur Historic Site, where the spectacular Three Capes Track begins. This area also has an abundance of activities that admire the natural surroundings such as walks and wilderness cruises.
The Old Farm is located in some of Tasmania’s most beautiful territory. Our sweeping green farmland meets Safety Cove’s pristine white beach. This is the beginning of the wild and breathtaking seascapes that Tasmania is renowned for, admired from Remarkable Cave.

REMARKABLE CAVE
A must-see when visiting the Tasman Peninsula, Remarkable Cave is located adjacent to The Old Farm. A dramatic view of the opening of the tunnel can be accessed by 115 steps down to the viewing platform. The views from atop of the cliffs look out to Tasman Island and Cape Raoul and below is a popular spot for local surfers.

SAFETY COVE
A hidden gem that’s often missed by tourists, Safety Cove is a long stretch of white sand beach that is located in front of The Old Farm. Facing the wild Southern Ocean, Safety Cove offers the perfect outlook of rugged Tasmanian coastline and the renowned Tasman Island.
